Welcome, you've come to the place where Calvin and Hobbes® once were honored with a great tribute and fan-site, "Calvin and Hobbes at Martijn's". Unfortunately the copyright owners didn't agree with that and made me shutdown the entire site. The biggest success of the site was the Calvin and Hobbes Strip Search, which received thousands of visitors every single day.
I want to thank for all your visits and nice comments. I've received hundreds of emails because of this shutdown; thanks for all the nice comments! It would take way too much time to reply to all of them, so don't think I don't read them. I've read every single one of them and appreciate your comments.
If you want, you can send me an email as well.

If you want to have all strips, but not all books (i.e. the least amount of books, but have every single strip) then you need to buy this list of books:
Of course you could also buy "The Complete Calvin and Hobbes" listed above!

Here it is: The Calvin and Hobbes Quiz for the real Calvin and Hobbes fans
among you. Some of these questions are really hard,
other questions
are easier to answer. When you read the question and you don't know the
answer, you'll have two possibilities: you can get a clue (with most clues, the name of
the book you can find the answer in is given), or you can go to the next
question so you can read your books again or just to think it over.
If you think you know the answer, you can click on the answer picture
to check it.
I think it is clear that you cannot win anything with this quiz,
it is just here to test your knowledge of the comic. Have fun with it!
NEW! You can now participate in the quiz. Each month a new question
will be put online. You can send me your answer(s) to this question. Sometimes
there are more answers to give on a specific question. You'll get points for
each answer you send in.
When counting the results, I decided to change the system a little bit. Everybody
got two points for each correct answer, and one point for a partial correct answer.
The coming months, I don't have time for new questions of the month. Therefor,
this section is temporarily closed. I do have a new question though, which will be here for a couple of months:
Do you know any (Hollywood) movies that contain 'something' of Calvin and Hobbes in them?
I've seen two, one in which the strip is mentioned, and one in which you can see one of the books. Please mail your answers to me. Mentioning one of the two films I've seen, will be worth two points, mentioning a movie I didn't see, will get you four points. I hope to receive a lot of answers, but I know it's quite hard.
Here are the answers to the last questions. First, the names of the movies Calvin
and Hobbes aren't allowed to see:
Venusian Vampire Vixens, The Cuisinart Murder of Central High, Vampire Sorrority Babes,
Attack of the Coed Cannibals, Cannibal Stewardess Vixens Unchained and Killer Prom Queen.
These are the names of the students in Calvin's class (other than Susie and Moe):
Tommy Chesnutt (the one who got eaten by Hobbes), Ronald (the invisible cretinizer),
Candace (Susie: I harldy even know him Candace), Jessica (Calvin, pass this note
to Jessica), Claire (Miss Wormwood: Thank you Claire), Russy White (is the Amino
Acid in the class play) and Filthy Rich (Some kids got Filthy Rich today).
Many thanks go out to Geoff Brown for giving me the idea for this quiz
and supplying me with questions. I'd also like to thank Maetoshi for the last
10 questions.
Any suggestions? Feel free to fill your questions in on the comments form.
